Vix

Vix is a nonbinary tattoo artist and interdisciplinary creative based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Greensboro, NC, they have called New York home for the past 14 years. They moved to the city to study Photography at Parsons The New School for Design and have since explored nearly every artistic medium under the sun.

As a queer tattoo artist, Vix believes that any modification of the body is inherently political. Their practice centers collaboration, care, and empowering clients to feel as comfortable and affirmed as possible. They see tattoos as a powerful form of self expression, healing, body reclamation, and even rebellion. Their work blends fine art, illustration, and design with a strong focus on creating intentional, affirming experiences for every client.

Vix’s tattoo work spans a range of styles and is tailored to each client’s individual taste and vision. They specialize in illustrative, neo-traditional, and ornamental tattooing, while often blending techniques to create work that feels distinct and personal.

Outside of tattooing, Vix works across a variety of media, offering custom artwork, graphic design, and other creative services. Regardless of the medium, their work is detail driven, queer affirming, and rooted in connection.
